Writer, Editor, and Researcher
I am currently pursuing writing, editing, and/or proofreading roles. I honed my professional writing expertise with a specialization in Creative Writing at NYU, a decade of professional communications in the performing arts sector, and three years of researching, writing, and editing federal and state web content spanning business operations, estate planning, real estate, and other topics.
My writing capabilities extend far beyond the professional and legal realm. I’m equally adept at producing captivating content across many subjects, from music and performing arts to literature, leadership development, and sports. My professional background encompasses a variety of experiences: writing, editing, proofreading, performing arts management and production, office administration, hospitality, customer service, K-12 and higher education, and childcare. My versatility and dedication to excellence make me a dynamic asset to any team.
I currently serve as a freelance Settlement Specialist for the LA Philharmonic Association, where I liaise between Accounts Payable, producers, artists, and agents to ensure artists are paid on time. I also volunteer managing the administrative and operational needs of South Bay Originals Futsal, a vibrant local futsal community in the South Bay of Los Angeles.
A standout achievement in my professional journey is my 19-year volunteer commitment to organizing and orchestrating an annual experiential-learning-based leadership conference for teenage youth with Rotary International District 5280 (Los Angeles, CA).
I live in the South Bay with my husband, two dogs, two cats, and a tortoise named Shellee Morla, The Ancient One.
